Texas Instruments, Chennai, India
Worked as project intern on OCP Bus Fabric Modeling of DRPs, over a period of 6 months. Was primarily involved in the modeling of the the Open Core Protocol Bus Fabric that is used in the Digital Radio Processors
The Open Core Protocol (OCP) defines a high-performance, bus-independent interface between IP cores that reduces design time, design risk, and manufacturing costs for System on Chip (SoC) designs. In this project the Open Core Protocol, implemented in a Digital Radio Processor, was modeled using SystemC – a system description language. The objective was to analyze the performance of the overall OCP module, quantified by various metrics such as average latency, throughput and bandwidth utilization. Gained considerable experience with PERL scripting as well through this project.

Integrated Systems Laboratory, Anna university, Chennai
Worked on the development and testing of the Bus Electronics board of ANUSAT, Satellite developed indigenously by students in the Integrated Systems Laboratory of Anna University, India. The microsatellite weighing about 40kgs is an interdisciplinary project involving various departments in the university. The department of Electronics & Communication is involved in the development and testing of RF SubSystems, baseband communication systems of telemetry, telecommand and GPS systems, onboard computer and bus electronics subsystems, ground checkout and satellite simulator systems, as well as the integration and integrated testing of all the electronic subsystems. I was involved in the testing and development of few circuits for the bus electronics subsystem
